The team leading the F1 championship isn’t just winning on the track — McLaren Racing just clocked a $4.1 billion valuation in a new stake sale. It’s the latest sign investors can’t get enough of the sport’s momentum. McLaren Racing CEO Zak Brown joined Bloomberg Open Interest to talk about the momentum.

John Nichols was a shareholder of March Enginering on the LSE

 March Engineering was a Formula One constructor and manufacturer of customer racing cars from the United Kingdom.

After winning the Autosport Competition to design an "around the houses" London Grand Prix Circuit in 1969 which was a serious proposal in 1982 upon moving to Torremolinos Malaga in 1978 he designed a "street circuit" for the Costa del Sol resort. The Mayor then asked him to design a permanent one in 1980 which was unofficialy (subject to minor changes) approved by the FIA´s Derek Ongaro

March Engineering were interested in his proposal for a F1 Circuit / Golf complex located near Campillos Andalucia Spain which unfortunately did not come to fruition as the company was delisted from the LSE and eventually ceased trading.

Upon moving inland the mayor of his new location asked him to design a circuit locally which he did at Villanueva del Trabuco. A company that was planning EV* production in this area Bankers were prepared to lend that company funds for the proposed circuit as well named Circuito Malaga 

* A Madrid based company at much the same time as the start of Tesla

John Nichols also started a FF1600 project in 1968 which was designed by Cooper´s Frank Boyles - Oscar FF69 which came 3rd first time out at Castle Combe. In 1973 Adrian Reynard approached John Nichols to finance the Reynard FF1600 production: which he did financing 2 cars .....
