Sky-high jet fuel prices, caused by the war in Iran, have claimed their first casualty in the airline sector. The no-frills operator Spirit Airlines ceased operations on the weekend. Former industry executive John Gradek says the company will not be the last to collapse.
He tells DW's Ben Fajzullin who is next in line and what is in store for travellers the world over, who had become accustomed to flying cheap.
